Quick summary

gm everyone - we hope you’ve all had a great week. If you have any feedback or suggestions to help improve this newsletter, please email edward@argent.xyz.

TLDR:

  1. Bankless launches a new YouTube channel
  2. OpenSea launches a bulk buying feature
  3. We launched Dappland - the best place to find and explore StarkNet dapps

Now let’s get into it all and more! 🚀

🎬 New YouTube Channel who’s this?

There are some great YouTube channels out there for crypto education, like Finematics. But they’re the exception, as sadly, YouTube is filled with influencers who market coins to their audience to later dump on them for a profit.

It’s not the best place to learn or help onboard friends and family into this exciting industry. But that’s all about to change.

Bankless, known for their great podcast and newsletter, is branching out to shorter-form YouTube content to give people what they want: Quality educational video content.

Their first video is on why crypto is full of scams and includes many tips on how you can stay safe.

🛍 Shop ‘til you drop

OpenSea added a new feature to allow you to bulk-buy NFTs. No longer do you need to deal with the pain of having to buy NFT after NFT after NFT, when you can now do that in a single transaction. It even saves you gas!

If you want to sweep floors - you can. And if you want to go on a shopping spree, that’s now been made easier. If you’re into collecting NFTs, this is a great update for you.

📣 Account Abstraction is all the rage

We believe that Account Abstraction is the key to unlocking the mass adoption of crypto. It significantly improves the user experience, increases security, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

We’re doing our part to raise awareness of Account Abstraction with our 3-part series titled “WTF is AA”, to explain what it is and why it matters. But what we’re loving at the moment is seeing others discuss Account Abstraction and why they’re excited about it.

Here’s a great example by the co-author of EIP-4337 (an attempt to bring Account Abstraction to Ethereum Layer 1), who explains why Account Abstraction is shaping itself to be the new 'big thing' on the horizon for Ethereum after the success of the Merge.

💭 What’s happening at Argent

We launched a really exciting initiative that we’ve been working on called Dappland earlier this week. It’s the best place to find and explore leading dapps across the StarkNet ecosystem.

We launched a really exciting initiative that we’ve been working on called Dappland earlier this week. It’s the best place to find and explore leading dapps across the StarkNet ecosystem.

For now, Dappland is exclusively for StarkNet, but we will be supporting zkSync in the near future.
